Duncor is committed to establishing and reviewing our Occupational Health and Safety objectives and is dedicated to the continual improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and our Occupational Health and Safety performance.

Duncor, as employer, is ultimately responsible for worker health and safety. Duncor recognizes that a safe and healthy work environment is a basic right of all workers. To achieve a safe work environment Duncor and all workers will be in compliance of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, its regulations and all other applicable OHS legal requirements. In addition we require compliance with the procedures set out in the health and safety program manual of Duncor Enterprises Inc. which is reviewed annually.

Duncor in unison with management is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for the prevention of injuries and illnesses. Duncor shall ensure that every reasonable precaution will be taken for the protection of its workers. All supervisors and workers must be committed to reducing the risk of injury and illness at work.

Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of all workers under their supervision. Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers work in compliance with the law and safe work practices and procedures.

Supervisors must ensure that workers receive adequate training in their specific tasks to protect their health and safety.

All workers are expected to actively participate in the goal of eliminating work place injury. Workers must protect their own health and safety by working in compliance with the law and with safe work practices and procedures established by the company. Everyone from the president to the new workers has the responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace. It is in the best interest of everyone at Duncor to regard health and safety as the top priority.

Duncor is committed to working together in a spirit of consultation and co-operation with all workers to identify and resolve health and safety issues. Health and safety will be an integral part of Duncor and all parts of the organization will be involved.
